currently, i work on acquisitions at Springdale Industries, a permanent capital holding company. i also lead Mielke Advisors, a partner company of Greenwood Advisors, which is a Springdale company.
before that, i was an early employee at a Series A-backed AI-native financial services firm. i also co-founded Finnly AI, a startup building AI tools for investment bankers and private equity firms. earlier, i worked in investment banking at Northborne Partners and J.P. Morgan, and in equity research at Piper Sandler covering autonomous technology stocks.
i studied finance at the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management and published In the Age of AI (2021).
i'm particularly interested in startups, emerging technology, and how ai will change the way we work and build businesses. outside of work, i enjoy golf and hockey.
